Michael McCormick hosted a birthday party for poet Robert Burns Saturday, January 22, his third consecutive year to do so, and invited everyone to come to the party. Artist Agnus MacDonald came with his bag pipe fully decked out in Scottish attire. TV/Iinternet broadcast announcer Sandra Richardson interviewed Agnus and several other kilt wearing gentlemen and learned a lot about Scottish traditions. The last hour of the program focused on a "Presentation of the Haggis," with MC Gordon Johnston, followed by "Toasts" to the Monarch, Lassies, Lassies Reply, and the Immortal Memory, ending with the singing of "Amazing Grace", and "Auld Lang Syne."
