Extra Help to View Live Video

The following suggestions will allow even the 'tough cases' to see the live video webcast if it doesn't embed in the previous main video page properly.
Control - or right-click here and choose Copy Link Location (Firefox, SeaMonkey, Mozilla etc.) or Copy Link to Clipboard (Internet Explorer) to acquire the mms: streaming video address. Then, Paste it into the media player you are using as follows:
(Note : Keep in mind that this link will only function in the player when the Live Webcast video is streaming.)
Cross-Platform Players
Windows Media Player ( Macintosh or Windows PC) :
For Windows PCs or Macs with Windows Media Player open, choose File... Open URL and then Paste in the link.

Apple's QuickTime Player ( Mac or Windows PC) :
In QuickTime Player (you need Flip4Mac too if you have a Mac instead of Windows), the command is also File... Open URL then Paste the mms: link in the box.

VLC Media Player (Mac, PC; most Linux systems):
The media player with the best features and success in our tests is Video LAN's VLC Media Player. It is a free download from www.videolan.org and the current version allows the user to paste the mms: link and get the video beautifully in a fully-resizeable window on any recent Mac or PC and most versions of Linux as well.
Choose File... Open Network; click on the button for HTTP/FTP/MMS/RTSP and then Paste the link you copied above into the URL box to the right of the button.

If you get any errors trying to use VLC, keep in mind that it is a 'new' program and usually all you'll have to do is Dismiss the errors. You'll probably want to check the box to Ignore any other errors as well.
Download VideoLAN's VLC
Macintosh Only:
If you have Flip-4-Mac installed - a free download from www.flip4mac.com - and the video page opens QuickTime Player instead of embedding the video in the main page, there is a preference set to do so. Go to the Apple Menu, open System Preferences, and look for the green Flip-4-Mac WMV preference near the bottom. Click on the icon, and in the Browser tab, make sure the first box to Use the plug-in is checked, and the last to Launch QuickTime Player is unchecked.

With this setting made, restart your machine and the video should embed properly the next time you visit the live webcast page. The progress bar will be at the top until it's ready; then the controller moves to the bottom of the video.
Download Flip-4-Mac WMV Software (Mac Only)
In the event of any problems beyond these, remember that restarting your computer may just "clear the cobwebs" and get it working the next time you try.
ENJOY THE SKIING!!!
